Our Mature Dating Tips, 2016-08-02 Getting ready for your Date - Part 2. Shopping
This is the second installment of our guide to preparing for your online date through wejustfit.com.
In part one we helped you get the music playlist sorted, but you’re still not sure what to wear. If it’s been a while since your last (clearly unsuccessful) date then we recommend that it’s time to splash out!
The great thing about shopping before a date (first date, second date, it doesn’t matter) is not just the high you get from buying some new threads but the fact that even if the date isn’t what you hoped for, you can still take solace in the fact that you got some new clothes out of the experience!!
For guys why not smarten up for your date? There is nothing more romantic than a gentleman, especially when that gentleman knows how to dress. We recommend a nice blazer to really sweep the girl off her feet, combined with some cool chinos or smart trousers. A pocket square never hurts either, bring out your inner Don Draper and you’ll feel as good as you look.
For girls you don’t want to go full ball gown but at the same time you want to wear something classy, particularly if you’re off to a dinner date in a nice restaurant. When you look good, you feel confident and that’s what we’re aiming for here. Pick something lady-like, a skirt or plain dress, and don’t forget to accentuate your positives. If you’re going for a plunging neckline then don’t show too much leg, or if you’re going for a short skirt then no need to show too much cleavage. The key thing on a date is to remember that you’re trying to show the best version of yourself, but you also want to keep them coming back for more.
Remember online dating is fun and no matter what you choose for your offline date, wear if with a smile and you’ll radiate attractiveness!
